14th – 16th +  22nd – 23rd of June

Our weekends are filled with lots of singing dancing and eating. We found the perfect place which was markets along the water before you enter Trastevere which is where the night life is.

Lots of restaurants as well as clothing markets all for great prices. We decided on burgers from one of the first stalls (as it was one of the only places big enough you couldn’t hear the football matches).

We watched the sunset over the river as we headed to the live music.

While one person has there specific time slot to play the crowds grow and there is lots of singing and dancing along. This singer in particular was our favourite every night and one night I almost got roped into singing a duet of Shallow with him.

This is our favourite local bar, where they have €7 drinks and pizza deals, there even nice enough to switch out the pizza for ham and cheese platters instead since Alex is gluten free.

The Trevi Fountain at 3 am was still busy with at least 30 people trying to get a photo but was much nicer then the hundreds of people during the day.

There is Karaoke Every Sunday-Wednesday at the Irish Pub, we sang with our new friends from America and had a full crowd.

We also discovered that Harry Styles lives in Rome, only discovering this as he walked past us with his groceries and we did not even recognise him until after.

1 month done already! The time is flying.
