Only one week left in Sardinia but has been surreal that my “work day” consists of taking Matilde to the sea and playing with her and then for a Gelato.

Such beautiful view from the balcony.

Matilde and I often sit on the couches outside and play card games while the sun sets.

Fireworks to celebrate the beginning of Ferragosto (an Italian holiday for the Assumption of Virgin Mary)

Such beautiful clear water and lots of fish.

Nailin (who also works for the family) had never been tubing so we went as there was a pop up sale at the beach.

Have expanded from only Margarita pizza to Marinara as well.

Sardinia is 10 x more expensive than Rome so we only eat chips and Aperol Spritz for dinner.

However, even that got too expensive so now Nailin and I DIY at home, last night we made Matilde’s parents, aunty and uncle one as well to test out our bartending skills.

There is also an amazing crepe shop around the corner from the house and Nailin and I often find ourselves convincing each other to go when we should be going to sleep (we share a room so unfortunately it is very easy and accessible to convince eachother).
