Last week in Rome after an unbelievable 2 months.
A consistent temperature of 35 degrees or higher from 9 am – 10pm with it then dropping to 28 degrees in the night.
Alex and I went rowing in a boat along the Villa Borghese Gardens… we switched positions for the photo but Alex has full credit for rowing the entire 20 minutes as I could not figure out how to do so.
Last time seeing Alex until she comes back to the Gold Coast in February.
Gabriella and I spent numerous hours in this 5 stories high Zara. “Saldi” is on in Italy at the moment meaning lots of sales so the shops always have hundreds of people in them and I constantly am having to remind myself I do not have room in my backpack for an entire new wardrobe.
Last gelato in Rome.
Went to see the Colosseum one last time before I left…in a top I brought from the Zara store.
And am currently writing this blog from my new location which is Sardinia with the most beautiful views !
